Interpreting

"The art of simultaneous interpreting has little to do with word-for-word translation. Rather, it is to know when to slow down, abstract from the speaker’s words to be able to produce an elegant translation based on a larger context constructed from the speaker’s previous discourse and common sense."

Because of my training and experience as a certified court interpreter, I am proficient in all modes of interpretation —simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation— yet able to quickly adapt to different settings to ensure messages and ideas are accurately and efficiently conveyed.

I provide interpreting services in the South Florida area, where I live, and will consider full-day assignments (at a minimum) anywhere in the United States and abroad.
